Crictime

Match time, wherever you are

Android · Nothing to download

Put Crictime on your Android home screen

Your browser can keep Crictime on your home screen as an app. It gets its own icon and fills the whole screen. There is no file to download and no permission to grant. Allow half a minute.

Want the APK file instead? Go to the APK guide.

1 Open play.crictime.ch in Chrome

Type play.crictime.ch into Chrome and open the site.

Then tap the three dots at the top right.

2 Choose “Add to Home screen”

In the menu, tap Add to Home screen. Some versions of Chrome show Install app in its place. Either one is right.

Chrome may also show an install bar along the bottom of the page. Tapping that bar works too.

3 Tap Install

Chrome shows a small box with the Crictime icon. Tap Install.

On Samsung Internet

Tap the three lines in the bottom corner. Then tap Add to, Home screen and Add.

When a small arrow icon shows in the address bar, it does the same in one tap.

✓ Finished

The Crictime icon is on your home screen. Tap it and pick a match, or see this month's matches now.

When it goes wrong

The menu has no "Add to Home screen" and no "Install app"

You are probably inside another app. WhatsApp, Facebook and Instagram open links in their own small browser, and it cannot install anything.

Copy the address. Open Chrome from your home screen. Paste the address there.

The icon opens a browser tab with an address bar

That icon is a shortcut, not the app. Hold your finger on it and remove it. Then repeat the steps and make sure you tap Install in the last box.

You prefer an APK file

The APK guide covers that. It takes a couple of minutes longer.
